Privacy Policy
This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from an advertising network. What follows explains the little that is collected anyway, and why.
The short version
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone for their own marketing.
- This site has no analytics, no advertising tags, no social widgets, and no third-party scripts.
- Fonts are served from our own server, so loading this page does not tell a font provider you were here.
- There are no forms. The only way to contact us from this site is a link that opens your own email program.
- Our web server keeps standard access logs for 14 days, then deletes them automatically.
- If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
01Who we are
iPixel Media LLC is a software and digital media company registered in Florida, United States. We build desktop and mobile applications, operate internet radio stations, and provide web design and hosting services.
For the purposes of data protection law, iPixel Media LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our contact details are in section 11.
02What this policy covers
This policy describes how we handle personal information on ipixelmedia.com, our company website, and how to reach us about privacy generally.
Our other products and services are separate. Our mobile and desktop applications, our internet radio stations and their listener apps, and websites we build and host for clients each have their own privacy notices where one is required, and those notices govern in place of this one. Where we host or maintain a website on behalf of a client, that client is the controller of the information collected through it and we act as their processor.
03What this website collects
Very little, and none of it is gathered deliberately for marketing or profiling. This site is made of static files. It has no accounts, no shopping cart, no comment system, and no contact form.
No cookies from us
This website does not set cookies, does not use local storage, and does not fingerprint your browser or device. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
No analytics and no third-party scripts
There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no heat-mapping, no session recording, and no social media widget anywhere on this site. The only code that runs is a small script of our own that draws a decorative waveform and fills in the current year in the footer. It sends nothing anywhere.
The typefaces used here are served from our own server rather than from a font provider, so viewing this page does not disclose your visit to a third party in order to render the text.
Server logs
Like effectively every web server, ours records a line for each request so that we can keep the site running, investigate faults, and identify abuse. Each entry may contain:
- your IP address
- the date and time of the request
- the page or file requested and the response code
- the referring page, if your browser sent one
- your browser's user-agent string
These logs rotate daily and are kept for 14 days, after which they are deleted automatically. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with any other source of information about you.
Under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, our lawful basis for keeping these logs is legitimate interests: operating a secure, functioning website. You can object to this at any time, though in practice we cannot serve you the site without our server processing your IP address to send you a reply.
04If you email or call us
The email addresses on this site are ordinary mailto:
links. Clicking one opens your own email program. Nothing is submitted
to us until you choose to send a message.
When you do write to us, we receive whatever you put in the message: your name and email address, and anything else you decide to tell us. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of our dealings with you or your business. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, or the performance of a contract if you are or become a client.
We keep business correspondence for as long as it is commercially useful, and for as long as we are required to keep records relating to a client engagement. If you would like your correspondence deleted, ask us and we will do it unless we are legally required to keep it.
If you telephone us, we may keep a note of the call. We do not record calls.
05Who else is involved
We keep the number of companies touching your information as small as we practically can. The following providers process personal information on our behalf:

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have never done so.
06Where your information goes
We are based in the United States and our providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where personal information covered by UK or EU data protection law is transferred, our providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over the personal information we hold about you:
- to ask what we hold and receive a copy of it
- to have inaccurate information corrected
- to have information deleted
- to restrict or object to how we use it
- to receive it in a portable format
- to withdraw consent, where we relied on consent
- not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of them, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, which normally means replying from the address we already hold.
If you are in the UK or the EU and you think we have handled your information badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
08Children
This website is a business site intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
09Security
This site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The server is firewalled, kept patched, and administered over key-based authentication with password logins disabled. Access is limited to people who need it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information while it travels across the internet to reach us. If a breach affects your personal information and the law requires us to tell you, we will.
10Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page, and where the change is significant we will say so on the website. This is version 1.0.
